A Date With Wild Elephant

A sick wild elephant, starving for food came to Mankarai, near Coimbatore. It created trouble to the inmates of the forest guest house. It broke water taps, damaged the cement bags, banged the doors. Forest officials gave the sub-adult tusker good food mixed with medicine. The elephant recovered, played in sun and sand. Bid goodbye. These events are presented as a photo essay.
